Hang Seng Indexes Company Limited (“Hang Seng Indexes”) recently announced the results of its review of the Hang Seng Family of Indexes for the quarter ended 30 June 2020. For the first time, CR Power is included as a constituent in both the HSI ESG 50 Index and Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Benchmark Index.

The selection of constituents in HSI ESG 50 Index and Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Benchmark Index is based on a comprehensive assessment of the ESG performance of listed companies in Hong Kong, aiming at providing benchmarks for investors interested in environmental and social responsibilities. The overall sustainability performance scores of constituents are compiled by the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency (“HKQAA”), an independent and professional assessment body, based on the criteria covering seven core areas: Corporate Governance, Human Rights, Labour Practices, Environment, Fair Operating Practices, Consumer Issues, as well as Community Involvement and Development. ESG leaders with top scores are included in the indexes. Among over 2,000 listed companies in Hong Kong, 50 companies are included in the HSI ESG Index while 89 are included in the Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Benchmark Index.
