China Resources Land Selected as Constituent Stock of the Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index Again

On 20 August 2021, China Resources Land (“CR Land”; 01109.HK) was selected as a constituent stock of the Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index (“HSSUS”), according to the results of the review of the Hang Seng Index series as of June 30, 2021 announced by Hang Seng Indexes Co., Ltd. (“Hang Seng Indexes”). CR Land ranks among the top 30 in the sustainability category with its outstanding performance in sustainability practices that enables the company to be selected as HSSUS’ constituent member again after its inclusion in 2018 and 2019. At the same time, CR Land has been selected as a constituent stock of the Hang Seng ESG50 Index (“HSESG50”) for the second consecutive year and a constituent stock of the Hang Seng Sustainability Benchmark Index (“HSSUSB”) for the fourth consecutive year.

HSSUS aims to select the Hong Kong listed companies with the best performance in sustainability. The selection process is carried out by an independent third-party professional review agency. The selection outcomes provide a series of high-quality benchmarks for index funds related to the theme of corporate sustainability, and are broadly recognized by international investors.
