The Asia Pacific Design Awards For Elite is an international design event sponsored and hosted by APDC whose core members are constituted by excellent architects, interior designers and product designers that are active in Greater China and Asia Pacific, and is one of the most authoritative events in Asia Pacific.
Located in the China Resources Tower in Shenzhen, the Spring Bamboo Shoots History and Culture Exhibition Hall is a comprehensive exhibition and communication space for CR to showcase its history, culture, brand image and events. With a 2,000-square-meter space, the hall expands interactive display and thematic functions with respect for the original building and space structure. Taking into account the cultural symbolism of spring bamboo shoots, the form of the CR logo and CR’s cultural heritage, CR built a diversified display platform that integrates functionality, interactivity and culture, in combination with the space, planes, art installations, models, garden landscape and other display format. The form of the
“A Myriad of Twinkling Household Lights” art installation is taken from the square element in the CR brand icon, which forms the “A Myriad of Twinkling Household Lights” art matrix in a three-dimensional way and is suspended at a height of 20 meters. The installation consists of 56 orange breathing light cubes and 12 LED light boxes representing the twelve hours of the day, digitally interpreting CR’s all-weather products and services for public life. The whole installation aims to express the warmth delivered by CR to millions of households.
Since its official completion and opening on 20th May, the Spring Bamboo Shoots Exhibition Hall has received 275 batches of nearly 5,000 visitors, and has become one of the most important historical and cultural display and education bases of the Group.
