CR awarded the Grand Prize for 2021 Outstanding Achievements in the Reform and Development

On December 22, CR’s Support to Enterprises to Achieve High-Quality Development through Digital Transformation and Innovation awarded the Grand Prize for 2021 Outstanding Achievements in the Reform and Development of Chinese Enterprises at the 2021 Chinese Enterprise Reform and Development Summit Results Announcements Meeting.

2021 Outstanding Achievements in the Reform and Development of Chinese Enterprises are the typical experiences and valuable achievements developed by the majority of enterprises in China to implement a new development concept and build a new development pattern based on the new development stage, through in-depth research and exploration, which promotes theoretical and practical innovation of Chinese enterprises and lead Chinese enterprises to make continuous progress in the new era. A total of 534 submission were received and a total of 161 results were validated as the “2021 Outstanding Achievements in the Reform and Development of Chinese Enterprises”, including 7 grand prizes, 49 first-class awards, 50 second-class awards and 55 third-class awards. CR was awarded the Grand Prize for its achievements in effective digital transformation.

CR’s Support to Enterprises to Achieve High-Quality Development through Digital Transformation and Innovation systematically summarizes CR’s practices and experiences in achieving high-quality development through digital transformation by advancing the development of informationization, digitalization and intelligence in line with global digital development trend and CR’s strategic transformation since it has completed “Reshaping CR” twice, especially in 2019 when it focused on promoting the digital and intelligent transformation. From 2009 when CR started the construction of informationization on a large scale to 2019, centering on the vision of “Smart CR” and after more than ten years’ development, CR achieved a leap in the level of informationization from the 87th to the first ranking among state-owned enterprises, and established from scratch the capabilities in digital control, platform technology and business empowerment. Such digital transformation and innovation have strongly contributed to the continuous improvement of CR’s customer service capability, production and operation efficiency and industrial competitiveness.
