On 14-15 December, China Resources Group successfully organized the first China State-owned Enterprises Digital Transformation Summit jointly hosted by the Digital Collaborative Innovation Alliance of State-owned Enterprises in Greater Bay Area and Stated-owned Enterprises Digital Development Research Institute. Mr CY Leung, Vice Chairman of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (“CPPCC”), Ren Hongbin, Deputy Director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (“SASAC”), Xie Shaofeng, Director of the Information Technology Development Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (“MIIT”), Zheng Hongbo, Vice Mayor of Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government, Wang Xiangming, Chairman of China Resources Group (“CR”), and main executives of some other state-owned enterprises, graced the event and made speeches.
Under the theme of “Digital State-owned Enterprises Leading China”, the first China State-owned Companies Digital Transformation Summit is positioned as a platform for the introduction of policies in digital technology, demonstration of major application achievements, and exchange and cooperation of scientific and technology innovation practices for state-owned enterprises. Chairman Wang Xiangming made a welcome speech on behalf of the hosts and the organizer at the opening ceremony.
He pointed out that the Digital Collaborative Innovation Alliance of State-owned Enterprises in Greater Bay Area and the Stated-owned Enterprises Digital Development Research Institute, which led by CR, have played a significant role in technology empowerment, service empowerment, and knowledge service and ecology empowerment for state-owned enterprises. He added that under the leadership and instruction of the relevant departments such as SASAC, CR will move towards the new development stage, implement new development ideas, and put all efforts in promoting industry digitalization and the development of digitalized industries in response to the national strategy and develop into a first-class enterprise with global competitiveness.
Later, Chairman Wang Xiangming together with guests, started the “Star Navigation Plan” for the digital transformation of state-owned enterprises. The summit also announced many achievements of digital transformation of stated-owned enterprises, including the top 10 achievements, top 10 white papers, top 100 typical scenarios, and top 10 trends, and hosted the main forum and summit forum with many enterprises sharing their experiences of digital transformation.
The opening ceremony of the summit was presided over by Chen Xiaojun, Vice General Manager of CR, and was attended by Wang Chuncheng, Vice General Manager of CR, heads of various offices, departments, and business units of CR, and head of intelligence and digital. Over 1,500 attendees participated in various activities of the summit, including executives from over 150 state-owned enterprises, local state-owned enterprises, and private enterprises, government officials, academicians and experts, and representatives from industry associations.
