China Resources Power (CR Power) took the eighth spot on the Hong Kong Business Sustainability Index" (HKBSI) released on January 7, 2019, marking the fourth time the Company has made to the top 20 HSI enterprises in the index.

According to the index results, the total average score of 50 Hong Kong Hang Seng Index constituent companies stood at 56.01 points (out of a total score of 100), representing an increase of 10.21% from last year. The top 20 HSI companies scored an average of 75.57 points, up 4.29% over the previous year. The top nine companies are all above 80 points, reflecting that an increasing number of companies are showing concern for business sustainability and are committed to corporate social responsibility.

CR Power was in the 8th position in this year’s rating, ranking first and named a “front-runner” among mainland companies making to the top 20 HSI companies, which represents high recognition from the Hong Kong authority of the Company’s efforts in sustainable development in recent years.
