The China Resources Healthcare Group Limited (CR Healthcare) has recently signed an agreement with the US-based Joint Commission International (JCI) on the Preparatory Services and Capital Increases for JCI Accreditation.

Under the agreement, the two parties shall expand the scope of joint venture cooperation, with the JCI-CRHG Academy of Hospital Management jointly launched by CR Healthcare and JCI becoming the sole consulting service provider of JCI China. In mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao, the JCI-CRHG Academy of Hospital Management shall provide pre-assessment preparatory consulting services for medical institutions applying for JCI accreditation and renewal every three years aside from originally available publications, training and educational programs and hospital management consulting services.

Now that the JCI-CRHG Academy of Hospital Management provides JCI consulting services, Chinese medical institutions have their own application and payment access, which will allow them to enjoy high-quality services jointly provided by JCI global consultants and JCI China consultants with local experiences at a lower cost. Thus a new level will be reached for Chinese medical institutions’ medical quality and its patients’ safety management.

According to JCI official in charge, licensing JCI’s top consulting services to the training and educational programs of the JCI-CRHG Academy of Hospital Management will allow China’s medical institutions a unified official access to preparation for JCI accreditation. In this way, they can enjoy services jointly provided by JCI global consultants and consultants with local experiences of JCI China, which shall aid their preparation for JCI accreditation.

The US headquarters of JCI will continue to put in technological resources in China and offer a hand in improving the medical quality of China’s medical institutions.
