The JCI-CRHG Academy of Hospital Management Holds Global Patient Safety Forum

From April 28 to 29, the JCI-CRHG Academy of Hospital Management held the annual Global Patient Safety Forum in Hangzhou. More than 300 people were in attendance, including Chinhak Chun, Senior Consultant of the US-based Joint Commission International (JCI), executives from China Resources Healthcare and the JCI-CRHG Academy of Hospital Management, deans, experts and counterparts from the medical industry. Released by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, the International Patient Safety Goals are dedicated to ensuring patient safety by focusing on critical aspects and proposing measures to improve safety management. The forum’s aim is to explore how to improve medical quality management and the level of patient safety in hospitals from multiple perspectives. The honored guests at the conference explained six International Patient Safety Goals (IPSGs) under the JCI standard and their best practices. An explanation was also given to the connotation of medical quality and safety, risk prevention strategies, global patient safety alliance strategy and international patient safety management trends. The knowledge and experience on how to improve therapeutic quality, patient safety and patient satisfaction were shared.
