On October 26, the 42nd International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC) was held in the Philippines and Dong-E-E-Jiao won the Gold Award for Quality Control (QC) on its first attempt.
The first ICQCC was held in 1975. Because of the rigorous requirements in terms of practical aspects such as statistical tools for procedures and quality, ICQCC has been lauded as the "Olympics in Quality". This time, Dong-E-E-Jiao picked as study subject ？Research on Simultaneous Detection of Multi Microelements in Donkey-hide Gelatin？. The research successfully formulated a methodology to detect 14 kinds of microelements in donkey-hide gelatin. The findings have provided a reference and technical support for the quality identification system for donkey-hide gelatin and improved the efficiency of detection.
Dong-E-E-Jiao has carried out QCC activities for 35 years and obtained 186 provincial, municipal and national outstanding awards for its achievements. For ten consecutive years, it has been recognized as an excellent enterprise in the group activity of quality control in the national pharmaceutical industry. This recognition brought significant benefits to the development of both the company and the industry.
