The Board of Directors of China Resources Group has recently approved the CR Code of Business Conduct (“the Code”). As a framework document, the Code is the Group’s open commitment and a crucial part of its compliance management system. The adoption and publication of the Code is a milestone in the construction of the Group's compliance management system.
Adhering to China Resources Group’s mission of “Lead the Business Progress and Build a Better Life Together” and its vision and value, the Code suggests the philosophy that emphasizes “compliance of business ethics that create business success and excellence”, which ultimately contributes to the development of a top-notch compliance management system and effectiveness. The Code clearly defines the inviolable principles of business conduct and guides and encourages the enterprises and employees across the Group to observe the CR spirit and value in all business activities.
The Code applies to the Group’s Board, all full time staff of China Resources Group, contract staff and business partners, as applicable. The circumstances in which the Code applies include all external activities in the capacity of the Company, all business-related activities within the Company, and all activities in which employees are privately involved with company information.
The Code will serve as an important guide for the Group to develop a compliance management system and develop a compliance culture.
