On March 18, China Resources Group Chairman Fu Yuning attended the China Development Forum (CDF) 2017 and presided over the session Healthy China 2030. This session’s guests included Ms. Cui Li, Deputy Minister of National Health and Family Planning Commission of the People's Republic of China (NHFPC), Novartis CEO Mr. Joseph Jimenez, Sanofi CEO Mr. Olivier Brandicourt, China Life Insurance (Group) Company President Mr. Miao Jianmin, Designated Nestlé CEO Mr. Paul Bulcke, Mr. John Young, Group President of Pfizer Essential Health and etc.

Chairman Fu Yuning summarized the current landscape of China’s health care and introduced CR’s current status, corporate vision and future opportunities in pharmaceuticals and health care. Fu also invited attendees to share their views. Deputy Minister of NHFPC Ms. Cui Li introduced the achievements of China’s Medical Insurance System, and gave a brief overview of the “The Plan of Healthy China 2030”.

Mr. Joseph Jimenez, Mr. Olivier Brandicourt, and Mr. John Young called for regulators to speed up the screening and approval process of new medicines’ entrance to domestic market, to expand the coverage of medical care, and to provide policy support to set up new research and development institutions in China. Both Mr. Miao Jianmin and Mr. Paul Bulcke shared their company’s commitments to embrace innovative insurance strategy and to ensure food and drug safety.

At the Forum, Chairman Fu Yuning also met United Technologies Corporation’s Chairman and CEO Mr. Greg Hayes and his entourages. The meeting attendees included CR Group Assistant General Manager Wu Xiangdong and representatives from CR Land.
