On January 7, the Group Staff Association in Hong Kong organized and participated in the “Walk for Millions 2023/2024” event. Bai Yong, Director of China Resources Group and Head of China Resources Enterprise, led nearly a hundred employees in Hong Kong to participate in a 6-kilometer hiking activity. This highlights the proactive role of China Resources Group, a state-owned enterprise, in actively supporting public welfare initiatives in Hong Kong.

For over 20 years, with the heartfelt intentions of giving back to Hong Kong society and spreading warmth and love, the Group has been participating in this series of public welfare activities since 1995, as well as offering donations and assisting families and individuals in need in Hong Kong. At this event, China Resources Charitable Fund will donate HKD100,000 to the Community Chest, which will be fully utilized to support 24 member organizations in Hong Kong that provide family and child welfare services. The aim is to improve and develop “family and child welfare services” in Hong Kong, encouraging mutual love and support among community members and strengthening family relationships.

To celebrate the 55th anniversary of the establishment of the Community Chest, the “Walk for Millions” event was specially held at a section of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.
